Ideas for teachers

  • Add movement to your class and have fun with your students!  Research has found that when someone not only hears vocabulary in a foreign language, but expresses it using gestures, they will be more likely to remember it. Check out the guides where I share a description of the movements and activities I use with the songs in my album during my classes to engage the children and make it more fun!

  • Explore the list of the songs in the album Short + Fun Spanish Beats by category to easily find the perfect one for your needs: vocabulary, movement, classroom routines, school recitals, spanish story time, Diversity, Earth Day, or sound association.

  • Find here a compilation of some of the best resources to learn how to effectively use music in the classroom (Podcast episodes, articles, guides, and playlists).

  •  Explore our playlists on Spotify to find additional  artist and songs to use in the classroom.

  • Join a community! You can ask questions and find resources and ideas from Spanish teachers all over the world in Facebook groups like: Teaching Spanish to Children

  • Listen to a Podcast to learn from other language teachers that share their best practices and experiences.
